Nelson Bubble Lamps

Inspired by a Swedish silk-covered lamp he admired but found prohibitively expensive, George Nelson designed the Bubble Lamp in 1947. Utilising a self-webbing plastic spray over a steel frame, he created a luminous, sculptural light fixture that became an icon of mid-century modern design. Now exclusively manufactured by Herman Miller, the Nelson Bubble Lamp continues to illuminate spaces with timeless elegance and soft, ambient light.
