Herman Miller’s COSM Chair And Maharam Textiles Make A Debut At XTRA

The main destination for all things Herman Miller in Singapore, we are expanding our range of products by the iconic American brand with the launch of COSM Chair and introduction of Maharam, a global provider of high quality textiles for commercial and residential interiors.

Celebrating these additions, we hosted a launch event at our flagship location on September 19, 2018 with a showcase of the COSM Chair and selected Maharam collections that is now available for purchase to homeowners and contract sectors at the store.
Herman Miller’s first task chair with an automatic tilt, COSM Chair, designed by German design firm Studio 7.5, is a perfect solution for every modern workplace. The chair’s breakthrough components provide total support and balance, instantly responding to body, movement and posture.

COSM is easily adjustable to its user via the Auto-Harmonic Tilt™ that automatically provides continuous support and fluid movement to its form. Available in one hue from top to bottom for cohesive design, COSM is the ultimate unity of function and aesthetics, providing an unparalleled experience of comfort in any work setting.

Founded in 1902, Maharam offers a comprehensive collection of textiles for commercial and residential interiors overseen by the New York-based Maharam Design Studio. The work of the Maharam Design Studio is represented in the permanent collections of more than a dozen museums including the Art Institute of Chicago; the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum; the Museum of Modern Art; and the Stedelijk Museum, among others.

Select fabric ranges is now available at XTRA. This includes the Dutch-influenced Darning Sampler, Darning, Sampler Large and Darning Sampler Plaid by Scholten & Baijings; timeless Blended Stripe by Paul Smith; impeccably composed Check, Circles, Edges, Plus, and Steps by Alexander Girard and high-performing Relay by the Maharam Design Studio.
